Safe Environment Training

For those of you that have already been certified through the safe environment program but have not updated your certification yet this year, the best way to do it is to follow the instructions below. 

For those of  you who are new to the group and are going to be volunteering for a Parent's Night Out or to work a Kids Play Day, please contact Trish Scogin and she will get you started in the initial certification process.  It's painless, promise! You can also visit the church's website for more information at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton's Safe Environment Program.

For renewals:

Christian Ministry Resources is an online training program

1. Go to www.churchlawtoday.com

2. Under "Congregational Training Center" click on "Online Seminars"

3. Enter user name: Dallas (case sensitive)

4. Enter password: Diocese (case sensitive)

5. Click on "Understanding the Problem of Child Sexual Abuse and the Church"

6. If you've previously completed this seminar, go on to the next one.

7. Read the seminar

8. Complete the Comprehensive Test

9. Print only last page of test

10. Sign your name

11. Returned signed page to Safety Officer or in our case Trish Scogin.
