Parent's Night Out

Need a safe place to leave your children while you enjoy a night out?  Sign up for Parent's Night Out and enjoy 5 hours of worry free care provided by "experienced moms".  All babysitters are cleared through St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Safe Environment Training.  You will also be helping Mothers and Others raise funds for our charities.  Children ages one year and older will enjoy an evening of games, snacks, crafts, and movie time.  The event is scheduled 4 times during the year (October, December, February, and April) from 5 pm to 10 pm.  It is set up to be "come and go" as you need to.  If your child has an early bedtime, you are free to pick them up before 10 pm.  Likewise, you are able to drop them off later than 5 pm.  The price for the babysitting is the same regardless. 

All children are required to have their own necessities (diapers, bottles, change of clothes, etc.) in a bag with their name on it.  Please label all contents clearly.  A blanket and pillow or nap mat is recommended for movie time. You can even include jammies for your child.  For children not proficient with a regular cup, please send a sippy cup or one with a lid.

We encourage you to feed your children before bringing them to PNO. If that is not possible be aware our first snack/dinner break isn't until 6:30p. We will have a second one at 8:30p followed by movie time.  We only have cheese crackers available as a snack at these times and water.  Please feel free to pack your own snacks and drinks for your children.  And let us know when you register if your child has any food allergies.

We do encourage you to leave toys at home so they do not create tension or get lost during play time. But if your child has special lovey or stuffed toy for rest time, please feel free to send it.

And finally, you MUST leave a phone number where you can be reached during these four hours of babysitting  when you drop off your children.  Just like during our meetings, our babysitters use time-outs as a method of helping to deal with disruptive behavior.

The cost is $20.00 for the first child and $10.00 for additional children.

Cancellation Policy

1. If you notify PNO Coordinator at least one week (by Friday before the scheduled PNO), you will be issued a full refund.

2. If you notify less than a week but more than 24 hours in advance, you will receive a credit towards the next PNO.

3. If you notify less than 24 hours in advance or you simply no-show, your fee will be non-refundable.  

As parents ourselves, we appreciate and respect that "stuff happens" and plans change, but we ask that you help us support our charities by enabling the maximum number of families to participate.  Please contact PNO Coordinator  (972-208-2297) if you need to cancel for any reason! We frequently have waiting lists. Thank you!
